Nuts and Bolts of Redeveloping Brownfields Properties for Local Government
This year's course is being hosted again by EPA Region 7, the Northeast-Midwest Institute, and Great Lakes Environmental Planning and will be held at the Discovery Center, located at 4750 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri, from July 21 through July 25, 2008. Participants will hear from experts on topical areas such as the economics of brownfield redevelopment, environmental site assessments, underground storage tanks, sustainable redevelopment, legal liabilities, public/private resources, among many others. A draft course agenda and course brochure are attached. The course fee is $395 per participant, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch. Limited need based scholarships are available.
