Introduction to Ecological Statistics

Description: Many ecologists and managers often use statistical models that may not be appropriate or that violate basic model assumptions (i.e. independence), which can lead to erroneous conclusions. We will begin with an introduction to ecological statistics and then explore and discuss several methods: Non Metric Multidimensional Scaling, Classification and Regression Trees, and Non Parametric Multiplicative Regression.
