This conference will serve as a forum to improve preparedness, conduct training, demonstrate exercises and share best practices for special needs individuals and communities.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Members of the emergency management and emergency services communities (including OEMs; Police; Fire and EMS), special needs advocates, and representatives from the special needs communities are encouraged to attend. Also, we welcome individuals from voluntary organizations active in disaster (VOADs), disaster human service agencies, and faith-based emergency and disaster groups to participate. Interdisciplinary dialog among all conference participants will be encouraged!
READINESS QUOTIENT SURVEY
We ask that you please click on the link directly below to complete a brief emergency preparedness questionnaire. This survey, which is known as the Public Readiness Index (PRI), is a first-of-its-kind tool to help individuals determine their “readiness quotient.” Results will be tabulated and announced at the conference.

We will be conducting individual session sign-up through these follow-up emails, which will require your prompt reply.
