Site Strategies to Move Your Project Forward: This virtual training course describes how RPMs and project teams can use the site strategy as a tool to help manage their sites more effectively by setting goals, establishing priorities, and identifying and tracking project risks. Instructors will present on the site strategy framework and discuss best practices for applying this project management approach at their sites. The course includes project highlights and case studies of site strategy development and application across different phases of site cleanup.
 
By taking this course, participants will be better able to:
  • Identify, prioritize, and document site goals and critical activities needed to move the site forward to completion.
  • Use the site strategy as a tool to communicate priorities and project risks with the site team, management, and stakeholders.
  • Develop, update, and maintain the site strategy as a “living” document and use it as a project planning and management tool throughout the remedial process.
The instructional methodology for this course includes interactive lectures, case studies, and project highlights. The target audience includes newer RPMs and experienced RPMs in need of a refresher.
Important Notice: Due to the content presented during a CEC course and the restrictions in place for non-citizens to enter federal buildings, international attendees are not permitted to attend CEC courses.
