Brownfield Restoration Training Course ID: REM-502
This course provides a complete overview of the Brownfields process, from achieving Brownfield status to completing redevelopment. Participants will receive training for funding assessments, directing phases of redevelopment, and managing federal grants. Attendees will be introduced to the Federal Brownfields law and related key terms, such as Bonafide Prospective Purchaser, All Appropriate Inquiry, etc. The course will also cover effective assessment techniques, current remediation practices, and tactics usable in rural and urban Brownfields sites. To conclude the course, participants will visit two successful brownfield remediation sites. Registration: Early bird rate is $495/420* until November 26, 2010; $545/$470* thereafter.
