The Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Assessment of Materials and Equipment manual (MARSAME) is a supplement to the Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manual (MARSSIM) providing information on planning, conducting, evaluating, and documenting radiological disposition surveys for the assessment of materials and equipment.

Registration is limited to federal, state, tribal, and local government employees only. Members of the public may audit the course on a space-available basis.

Trainees will need an official photo ID (Drivers license is best, or another form of Government issued ID) to show to the security guards, and tell them that they are there for the MARSAME training course. If needed, list Tim Rice, NYSDEC, as the point-of-contact for the course. If there are any problems at security they can reach Tim Rice on his cell at 518-487-8520. The security staff will be able to send trainees to the appropriate room after they have checked in with their ID and get a visitors badge.
