| Event Name: | Scientific Support Coordinator (SSC) Training |

| Event Description: | The Scientific Support Coordinator (SSC) Training course is open to EPA's national special teams personnel who may be called upon to provide advice and inform decision-making for all science and technology-related incident activities under both normal and extreme circumstances. The SSC may, at the request of the On-Scene Coordinator (OSC), provide scientific support for operational decisions and for coordinating on-scene scientific activity, as specified in the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP) (40 CFR 300.145). |
| Additional Information: | Please note, the training is not being held on consecutive days. You are required to attend all nine webinars in the series to obtain a certificate of completion. The schedule of webinars is as follows:
