ASTM International, Inc. released its Greener Cleanup Standard Guide E2893, (the "Guide") originally in November 2013, and was recently updated in May 2016. The Guide offers remediation professionals a clear, step-wise approach to implementing green remediation projects. Participants in this course learn: greener cleanup fundamentals; how ASTM's Standard Guide for Greener Cleanups can inform project decisions to reduce the environmental footprint of contaminated site remediation; how to integrate the Guide into their work; and the basics for conducting an environmental footprint assessment.
This training is free and reserved for EPA, State, and Tribal attendees. A description of the guide can be found at https://clu-in.org/greenremediation/standard.
Upon registering, you will be asked if you intend to attend in person or remotely. In-person attendance is encouraged, however, seating may be limited. Remote access connections will be made available.
