IGEs for RPMs: From Scoping to Funding
This full-day course focuses on the procedures and resources RPMs can use for preparing independent government estimates (IGE) for remedial program activities. Participants discover the recommended procedures for accomplishing this challenging task. This course provides an overview of current policies and resources for RPMs to use in preparing IGEs. After the review, participants are challenged by a hands-on exercise to prepare their own IGEs. At the end of the exercise, participant results are reviewed and the source of the different outcomes is discussed. This course also includes a discussion of the types of IGEs used in the Superfund program and negotiations and documentation of costs. This course is recommended for both new and experienced RPMs and others who are responsible for developing IGEs for remedial program activities. Participants receive 7 hours of Contracting Officer Representative (COR) training toward the requirements of the Clinger-Cohen Act. Registration for this training is open to U.S. EPA employees ONLY. Important Notice: Due to the content presented during a CEC course and the restrictions in place for non-citizens to enter federal buildings, international attendees are not permitted to attend CEC courses. For general information contact Jodi McCarty (ICF) by telephone at 773-934-3091 or via e-mail at Jodi.McCarty@icf.com
