CERCLA Inspectors pursuant to EPA Order 3500.1 have basic training requirements including Fundamentals of Superfund, Enforcement Process Overview, Removal Process, and a negotiations training course. OSC Credentials are currently being renewed and some senior OSCs do not have adequate documentation that they have met the basic training requirements. To facilitate EPA OSCs obtaining the required training, the CERCLA Education Center is working with training partners to provide an Internet Seminar Series on negotiations training for EPA OSCs on Clu-In.org.

This series is open to all OSCs.

The proposed scheduled is below:

•  September 15, 2010:  Module 1 (First Live Delivery)
•  September 17, 2010:  Module 1 (Second Live Delivery)
*Students can attend either session for Module 1

•  September 28, 2010:  Module 2 (First Live Delivery)
•  September 29, 2010:  Module 2 (Second Live Delivery)
*Students can attend either session for Module 2

•  October 5, 2010:  Module 3 (First Live Delivery)
•  October 6, 2010:  Module 3 (Second Live Delivery)
*Students can attend either session for Module 3

•  October 8, 2010:  Module 4 (First Live Delivery)
•  October 20, 2010:  Module 4 (Second Live Delivery)
*Students can attend either session for Module 4

Each Internet seminar will take place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time on the selected date.

Please note that you need to attend Modules 1 through 4 (each module will be presented twice and the participant can choose which date to attend based on their schedule) in order to receive your certificate. Attendance will be recorded during each session.
