| Event Description: | This course, sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, familiarizes federal, state, local, and tribal government employees with the radiation survey and site investigation methods in the MARSSIM. MARSSIM provides detailed guidance for planning, implementing, and evaluating environmental and facility radiological surveys conducted to demonstrate compliance with a dose- or risk-based regulation. | Additional Information: | This training class will provide detailed information on using the MARSSIM guidance, delivered by three instructors with first-hand knowledge on implementing MARSSIM in realistic situations. Upon registration for this course, you will be mailed: MARSSIM Course Agenda In order to keep pace with the instruction and fully participate in the exercises, you are encouraged to have a calculator available and familiarize yourself with the above material in advance of the class.
