Event Name: |
Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule |
Event Description: |
In November 2016, EPA made major revisions to the hazardous waste generator regulations under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) to improve compliance and increase environmental protection. These changes, which became effective on May 30, 2017, are both a result of EPA's experience in implementing and evaluating the hazardous waste generator program over the last 30 years, as well as a response to concerns and issues identified by the states and regulated community. This presentation will provide an in-depth look at the new Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule.
