Event Description: |
This event (which is not typically publicly advertised) is an organized activity that supports planning of an exercise or complex course design. Examples include, Concepts and Objectives Meeting (C&O), Initial Planning Conference (IPC), Midterm Planning Conference (MPC), and Final Planning Conference (FPC). This event can also be used for organized post-exercise activities, such as an After-Action / Improvement Planning Conference. Participants are U.S. EPA and other agency stakeholders and subject matter experts, assisted by contractor support. Lengths and meeting modes may vary, including in-person half- to full-day (or longer) events with the potential to be conducted virtually. Planning events often require an agenda and a facilitator. The standard outputs from a planning event are meeting notes, action items, and original / improved drafts of exercise or course documentation.
