Offerings of NARPM Presents...Addressing Environmental Issues with the US EPA's Environmental Response Team & CBRN Division’s Analytical Capabilities

The Environmental Response Team & Chemical, Biological, Radiation, and Nuclear Division (ERT-CBRND) within the Office of Land and Emergency Management includes subject matter experts on a range of topics relevant to Superfund sites, including site characterization, field operations and data interpretation. Within ERT-CBRND, the Field Assets and Analysis Branch (FAAB) houses specialized laboratory assets that can support Superfund site work and provide remedial project managers with expanded and unique analytical capabilities. Attendees will learn how these assets can be used for faster and more informed decision-making on- or off-site and enhance response and removal efforts. This webinar will provide an overview of the capabilities and Superfund applications of the following FAAB assets: the Airborne Spectral Photometric Environmental Collection Technology (ASPECT), the Fixed-to-Field (F2F) analytical laboratories, the Portable High-Throughput Integrated Laboratory Information System (PHILIS), and the Trace Atmospheric Gas Analyzer (TAGA) mobile laboratories.  It will also highlight how these tools have been used in complex site investigations and provide guidance on how to request them for site support.
