The objectives of the PUDSA course are identify the data needs for Hazard Ranking System (HRS) and National Priority List (NPL) eligibility and to learn how to:
- Develop and use a conceptual site model (CSM);
- Apply systematic planning to your project (using EPA's Data Quality Objective process as a tool);
- Identify your data needs;
- Sample smart - get the right samples so that you obtain the right data; and
- Assess data adequacy
It is recommended that students have some working knowledge of the Site Assessment process and that they have previously taken the HRS Training course.
