Technical Support Project (TSP) Meeting

The TSP is meeting in conjuction with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Toxic Substances Hydrology Program Point Source Research Meeting. EPA participants are invited to attend the USGS sessions scheduled for Monday and Tuesday (January 26 and 27). These sessions will discuss the accomplishments, technology transfer, and future priorities for research in the areas of:
- fractured rock aquifers
- petroleum contamination
- wastewater effluent
- landfills
- mixed wastes
In addition, the Ground Water Forum is invited to meet jointly with USGS on Thursday morning (January 29) to discuss research needs. Each of the three TSP forums, Engineering (W-Th), Federal Facilities (T-W-Th), and Ground Water (W-Th), also will hold individual business sessions and a joint plenary discussion. A field trip is scheduled for Thursday.
State Participants: Travel assistance for state members of the TSP is available through a cooperative agreement with the University of Massachusetts.
